About The Chef
I am a newcomer to the Abilene area. I was born in Germany to military parents. At a very young age my
mother brought me into the kitchen to "help" her cook. While I made
more messes than meals at that point it did start my love affair with
the kitchen.
Growing up in Europe offered many opportunities to learn
recipes from several different countries. My father being from Prague
offered an even more rich culinary heritage to build on.
After I
married I was given yet another chance to add to my ever expanding
cookbook when my husband & I got stationed in Italy. There I was
taught by an Italian grandmother just how to create those dishes I had
only eaten in restaurants previously.
While my primary profession is
Motherhood I still love to be creative in the kitchen and would love to
share all I have learned on my travels with you!
My goal is to make sure each student gets as much out of the lesson as
possible. For this reason each class is limited to four students. If
there is a high demand for the class another will be scheduled. Register early to
ensure your space.
